Step into the future this half-term at the National Railway Museum

by What's On

Take a step into the clever world of coding at the National Railway Museums future-focused half-term event. Robots, dancing, toys, stories and more.

We are surrounded by technology in the modern world we live in, and it’s coding that makes a lot of things work.

This February half term, discover how we needn’t be scared of words like “data” and “coding”.

Fun and free hands-on activities that break down these concepts and build confidence.

Enjoy a Steam Ride or a rumble along the Miniature Railway.

There’s also the super-speedy Mallard Experience and the Road Train to take you to and from York Minster.

You’re bound to work up an appetite exploring the museum. Pop over to their family-friendly cafés in Station Hall and Great Hall to refuel. Here you will find irresistible coffee and cakes.
