Summer family fun with Leeds Museums & Galleries

by | What's On

From jumping through the hay bale maze at Lotherton to being inspired by Yorkshire Sculpture International at Leeds Art Gallery, there’s fun-filled days out across all of Leeds’ Museums and Galleries this summer. Here are some of the highlights for the holidays, so you can spend more time enjoying your visit.

Make marvellous music at Leeds City Museum and encounter monsters in the mansion at Temple Newsam. Take part in roarsome crafts and swashbuckling trails at Abbey House Museum, then pack a picnic and head across to Kirkstall Abbey to meet Barry the dragon.

Leeds Industrial Museum and Thwaite Watermill are joining up for their Vintage Bus Day once again, jump on board to discover Leeds’ industrial heritage. Book a spot on a free weekly workshop at the incredible Leeds Discovery Centre and be amazed by some of the 1.3million objects.
